Male Icons are:
Used to like as a person, however continue to only fancy the body of to insult him: Leonardo Dicaprio... was my major obsession for the last three years but I'm giving it up as from last week... he's a homophobic, arrogant young tart who has far too many fans on the net, thus I have given up on creating my Leo Picture Gallery and decided to leave a link to it here as a record of how I once felt about this boy... I was searching the net looking at some of the Millions of Leo fan sites and I was struct by how unashamedly unoriginal my obsession now was... thus it is no more!! I do not love you Leo, I'm sorry darling, I want you to sort out your attitude to gay chaps too before i will allow myself to buy anyother postcard of you.

If you
decide to visit my leo gallery don't be disappointed by it please. It was mid-development when I got the picture: ie. I realised the true state of what I thought of him..

Thank god I have loads more obsessions to keep me turned on and excited "post-leo"...

Fancy
Jude Law ever since I saw "Wilde" last year. He co-stared with Stephen Fry, another of my icons, as Bosie, Oscar Wilde's powerful and manipulative young lover..." what a dish" he was, more recently you may have seen him in Gatacca. Hopefully I will have a link soon to a site with a little more about this gorgeous hunk of an up and coming english actor...

I've just collected together some of these great photies for you on

I know it is impossible to just stop an obsession like my former love for him so I will allow him on this page under the justification that I still fancy the pants off him for looks but no-longer personality!
Utterly Admire Stephen Fry who is my favourite British Novelist still to be writing.... He's literally a literal genius who can write a sexy and intriguiing story like noone else can. His last novel "Making History" rocked, as it created a completely plausable and freightening alternative world: a world in which Hilter never existed. He not only writes novels, and an auto biography, he also acts in films ("Wilde", as mensioned above) and T.V., recently "In the Red" on BBC One, and writes comedy for TV and Radio.

Again, this site IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION but soon, I promise there will be a working link to a page with more information about Stephen Fry and how to order his books over the internet, with loads of great links too...

Utterly Admire James Baldwin who is my favourite dead author, sounds harse but he is dead and I would have problems deciding between him and Stephen Fry if forced to... James Baldwin was a gay black american who wrote his best novels in the 1950's so life for him wasn't easy.... like me his father's job and his sexuality seemed incompatable as he grew up: both our fathers are ministers... his was a harlem precher and mine a middle-class vicar, but the dilemma was the same for us both. I studied his book "Going to Meet the Man" for my A-level English Literature and that got me started on the rest of them... his best known and most controversial novel is "Giovanni's Room" in which he follows the character David from America to Paris where amongst other things he discovers his sexuality through his affair with the dashing Italian barman Giovanni... how cheesy could I make it sound, what ever I say couldn't do it justice, Iit is a fantastic book and like some of my other favourite stories, it's a tragedy too.

James Baldwin died in 1980 of AIDS.

Josh's Female Icons are:
Worship Audrey Hepburn, ever since I saw her in my favourite movie of all time: "Breakfast at Tiffany's". She was the most beautiful woman to have lived, forget Heln of Troy, Yeats should have referred to Hepburn, whose beauty is said to have "removed boobs from what we conventionally see as beautiful". She left the movie industry early while she was still comparatively young to become a UN Peace Ambassador until she died in 1993 of colon cancer. I have put together a selection of images in Josh's Audrey Hepburn Shrine which I hope do her versitility justice....

Thanks to Audrey Hepburn and the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's" I have an A in A-level art, as she inspired my final painting ("A Response to Breakfast at Tiffany's") and as long as I have assess to a video, will never feel lonely or depressed again.

Thank God For Carole King whose lovely tones could inspire any depressed soul to sing "You Got A Friend" in public! I forst got into Carole King during my GCSE mock exam time, almostr 3 years ago now, when i put on my Dad's old copy of "Carole King Music", which remains my favourite. I proceeded to dig a further 3 albums from her 70's creations and listen to them whenever i'm a bit down, or just like to reminded of other times... I hope I don;t sound too chessy but I feel about her music the same way some people feel a =bout certain perfumes: they have ran out but like to smell some of it on someone in the street and be reminded of the way they felt wearing it. God I'm not making any sense!

Love the Music of Mama Cass, and the Movie "Beautiful Thing" whose funky tunes backed a great "urben fairy-tale" of a movie. Like many other famous 36/37 year olds, she is alleged to have died in a fittingly tragic fashion: chocking on a sandwich, however in this case it wasn't true... she actually ded of a heart attack. It is odd though, don't you think that famous people do pop off in funny ways and always somewhere around 36?!... Diana...Marilyn...

"Beatuiful Thing" was the first gay movie I saw at the Electric Cinema in Birmingham. I was 16 and went with my best friend Diane and my ex-neighbour from when I was 10, Anna Clyne, who is also currently studying in Edinburgh at the univeristy. The sound track is one of my favourite CD's. Visit the movies review sites:

Adore the Sculptures of Barbara Hepworth: She was the greatest female sculptor of this century, and her unique ability to conceive art work which rings of nature and her major theme: "the figure in the landscape". I have begun to create a little page about her and possibily some of her contemporaries called the SculptureCourt.
